Hey everyone that cares! I decided to officially change my name on email addresses and such (I know I'm a little late) and so therefore I changed the blog address as well. I will eventually go private (probably new year make the switch) but for now just visit our new blog instead!! Hopefully you won't all hate me for doing this...I don't even know who cares about my blog anyway but the few of you who do...I'll see you at the new site. Thanks!

Happy Birthday to my FAVORITE person!
To my favorite person, my best friend, my soul mate and my husband, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Travis was an answer to my prayers in so many ways when we met. Travis and I getting together was the perfect example of when you stop looking for love it finds you. We were a blind date that I didn't want to go on in the first place. We didn't really want to go on a second date either but because our friends did, we did. I knew within the first couple weeks of being with Travis that we would end up together forever and that eventually he would be my husband. Travis is good for so many reasons but since he's 25 today I thought I'd narrow it down to just the 25 things you may or may not know about Travis and things that I love about him.
1. Travis has loved sports...probably since before he was born 2. He is a talented coach and absolutely LOVES teaching kids his passion for the game
3. Travis loves to have a clean room
4. He has a gag-reflex like I've never seen before
5. He loves his job
6. He loves to do things to make me happy
7. He loves his nieces and nephew so much and they absolutely adore him
9. He is a morning person...and a night person...and an afternoon person :)
10. He's shy when he first meets people
11. He can't wait to have babies and be a dad
12. He loves trying new things and being adventurous
13. He's really good with money
14. He loves to surprise me with special nights and dates
15. He remembers all the little things about our relationship
16. He's always wanted to own a huge ranch with farm animals and ride horses all day
17. He takes care of me when I'm sick
18. Travis loves this time of year, college football, college basketball starting, NBA, NFL and baseball playoffs
19. He says he loves everything I make him for dinner...even if he doesn't
20. He loves the TV series "Friends" and immitates Chandler all the time
21. He loves mexican food
22. He loves to work out, play flag football, play basketball and anything else that can keep him in shape
23. He is an AMAZING help to me when I want to clean or organize our house
24. He's so handy around the house and knows so much about random things
25. He is my soul mate and best friend and I would be nothing without him
25. He is my soul mate and best friend and I would be nothing without him

Update on life...
Ok Lauren, this is for you. I need to update on life but I don't know where to begin. I've been thinking a lot lately about how grateful I am for the things I have. I don't stop and think about those things enough I decided. So maybe this won't be the most crazy, fun, post ever but it's what I've been thinking about lately.
I'm really grateful to have the job that I do. Some of you might not know but I work for a marketing company as the executive assistant. I assist mainly 3 men here the CEO and co-CEO and the VP of Marketing. I can honestly say that I love my job and I know a lot of people can't say that so I'm grateful that I can. Obviously I have my days where I just want to throw in the towel and call it a day but I'm grateful that I don't because I wake up every morning tired but willing to go to work. I'm also grateful that I'm at a job that is hiring and giving raises right now instead of laying people off. I'm grateful for a boss that sees my potential and challenges me. And I'm grateful that he believes in me and that we have a mutual trust.
I'm grateful for Travis' job. He's been doing Quality Assurace for a company for about 3 months now and just got a raise. We are so blessed to be working at places we love, with people we like and at a place that believes in us and wants us to grow and stick around.
I'm grateful for my friends. You'll know who you are when I start talking (and hopefully I don't start crying at my desk) but we have a lot of wonderful friends that we love but one couple in particular we just absolutely adore! We never get sick of them or even get close. We can do anything with them and we know we will have fun. She is my best friend and he is Travis' best friend. I don't know what we would do if we didn't have them in our lives. They are the type of best friends that I hope everyone is blessed enough to have. She's the friend I can count on ANYTIME! I know we can call them for anything and they know they can call us for anything. The reason I am talking about them so much in particular is because they will be leaving us in less than a year and that thought has been on my mind a lot lately. I don't honestly know what we'll do without them. I know we'll find other friends to hang out with and do things with but no one will ever be as dear to our hearts as they are to us. They mean so much more to us then I think they will ever fully understand but I hope they know how much we love them.
I'm grateful for my loving husband. It breaks my heart to hear about divorces and people that are struggling with their marriages but it just makes me love Travis that much more. He is kind and loving and sincere. He is always looking out for my best interests and always serving me. He amazes me more and more every day and I get so excited thinking about all the amazing things he will do in the future.
Well I know this was boring but it's really good for me to put all my feelings down. I love all of you that even visit my blog and I'm so grateful for all that you've done for me.
Love, Addie
Here's one picture I guess, this is from 9/11 we went to see the flags all set up across from the Sandy City Hall and really had a great time.
